Autocad Center(PRWEB) April 12, 2005 -- Computers Etc Software Training Center and Cybertech Training Centers, Inc. are pleased to announce the grand opening of their most recent AutoCAD training facility in Southern California. The classroom is located in the city of Anaheim and will compliment their existing satellite campuses in San Diego and Riverside. Additional locations are planned for Burbank, Culver City, and surrounding communities in the coming months. Each classroom features state-of-the-art hardware, current versions of software, and is staffed by an experienced, dedicated team of certified trainers. Instructors and course materials are supplied by Cybertech Training Centers, which is an authorized AutoCAD training provider. The new Anaheim campus will offer courses in core subjects such as AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT, Autodesk Inventor, Map, MapGuide, AutoLISP, as well as training in AutoCAD rendering, modeling, and plotting features. In addition, advanced classes on external reference files, raster design, advanced blocks and attributes, visual basic applications for AutoCAD, and other topics will also be scheduled. Each class features extensive hands-on training and is taught by an AutoCAD professional with real-world experience, so employees and employers each benefit - employees increase their earning power and employers see an increase in productivity. Students will find that courses offered at all three locations - Anaheim, Riverside, and San Diego - place a strong emphasize on the job skills required for today’s marketplace. Each of the AutoCAD training and certification programs offered by Cybertech and Computers Etc. is competitively priced, and employers are eligible for a group discount if more than one employee attends a class. Most AutoCAD training classes are scheduled during the day; however, a number of the more popular courses are now being offered in the evening or on weekends. For additional information about the facilities, course content, schedule, or pricing you may contact Douglas Bush at (858) 578-9476.

The company, an independent security certification vendor, announced the Japan Government Information Security Professional (JGISP) credential focused on the special requirements of doing security for that nation. ISC(2) worked with the Japan Network Security Association (JNSA) to develop the JGISP. W. Hord Tipton, executive director of (ISC)2, had this to say in the press release as to why the certification was developed:
At least two years of experience in at least two of four security-related domains are required before taking the test. The credential is good for three years, and requires 20 continuing education credits per year to maintain. The JGISP has a Japanese-language home page on the ISC(2) site. Based on this, I wonder if a similar U.S. government security credential is coming. There are certainly tons of security requirements already on the books, and more are surely coming. If it makes sense for Japan, why not the U.S., which is more complex? Security Cert Goes Japanese originally appeared on About.com Tech Certification on Saturday, September 19th, 2009 at 07:50:11. Google has come under fire since the launch of the Nexus One after hundreds of messages were posted with complaints or questions about the phone. Many customers said that after calling T-Mobile they were referred to HTC, the phone's maker, or the reverse. Google does not have a customer-service phone line, and customers sending e-mails were being told to wait one or two days for a reply.

Famous Tech Vaporware Each year, the nation's largest geekfest, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), is full of hype, overhype, and beyond the valley of the hype. Remember the Internet Refrigerator? And each year the hype (and overhype, and b.t.v.o.t. hype) inevitably leads to disappointment: Vendors dangle many alluring prototypes and product rumors in front of the assembled tech journalists and geeks during the week in Las Vegas, but many of the products never appear or arrive far later than scheduled and in a competely different format. Evidently, much of what is dangled in Vegas stays in Vegas. Wow, Did That Go on Sale?
