Quick Response or QR codes like the one in the picture above seem to be popping up everywhere these days. They are great for advertisers and marketers because they allow users to obtain product information and website addresses by scanning the multidimensional bar code with their smartphone's camera. While the economy seems to be slowly recovering, many companies are still fighting layoffs and have been forced to cut holiday bonus spending.
